Everyone was very excited to create their volcanoes

Everyone was listening intently as Orla explained the process.
Not a sound was heard and then cheers erupted!
Now it was down to business.
Everyone had lots of fun recreating the experiment within their teams. We even have different colour lava!
We had even more fun this week learning about currents and electricity
Halloween Dress-Up Day
Well, all the children seem well prepared for scares :() Every one of them was well into the spirit of Halloween, from vampires, skeletons and witches to ninjas and ladybirds.

Maths Week
What a wonderful week we had; from a walk spotting numbers and shapes to a guess the number of chestnuts in a jar lots and lots of fun was had by everyone.
We spotted an oval shape Building with shapes (and enjoying Lego) Spotting more numbers Even more numbers We created and coloured in shapes More building with shapes Off on our way to discoveries Spotting numbers on the keypad We build using shapes We found a purple rectangle during our scavenger hunt We found a diamond Look, a circle! Look, the number 9!
Our Junior Infants class have settled in well to their new routine. Here they are waiting in line on Day 1
